There Is A Winner!
Today marks the end of the Washington Post Express–Gold’s Gym Get Fit Challenge! I was honored to be a part of the first cast of challengers selected from over 850 applicants!
If you’ve been following the Challenge, you’ll know that I’ve been competing, for 12 weeks, for $5,000 cash. The results are in and I lost 49 pounds!

I lost the most weight, but I didn’t win the competition. However, Yours Truly is the Runner-up in this competition! I won a $1,000 in Gold’s Gym Dollars and I was also awarded a one-year membership with the other challengers.
I am so grateful for this opportunity! I have changed my life and there’s no stopping me! I plan to hit 100 pounds by or before Christmas. My Christmas list will be quite lengthy this year.
