Tuesday’s Temptation
My all time favorite dessert topping is caramel! Hands down, caramel will always be a winner in my book. I have yet to purchase a candy thermometer, but when I do, the first recipe I will make will be caramel!
Its seductively silk and sassily sweet! My mouth is salivating as I think about the creamy, light brownish-orange colored sauce that’s been warmed and drizzled over vanilla bean ice cream and topped with praline pecans. Wait, I love the thought of caramel used to top my favorite slice of sweet potato pie…I have to contain my excitement because I’d want to lick it off of the plate!
I love caramel so much, in middle school, I bought a Giant Sugar Daddy from a schoolmate and planned to eat it for my dessert at home. That plan was thwarted when my Mom found the milk caramel lollipop in my backpack and took it from me. You want to know why it was taken…I had braces! (smile)

One of my favorite ways to consume caramel is in a Caramel Frappucino from Starbucks! Today’ I’m adding a: Venti Caramel, extra caramel around the cup, Caramel Frappucino to my Brown Bag!

Since I met Starbucks, years ago, I have loved its Caramel Frappucino! Its Starbucks coffee blended with milk, golden caramel and topped with fresh whipped cream and more caramel! This beverage was created for Tuesday’s Temptation! If you had it everyday, you’d put your health in danger, I’m sure.
The “Caramel Frap” is a perfect pick-me-up at any time of day. You get the best rush of both worlds. There’s a sugar rush and a caffeine rush! I have been monitoring my intake of both, but today says “tempt me!” (I’ll probably pass though.) This classic caramel creation is becoming an icon in blended coffee beverages. People still order this beverage every time I walk in a Starbucks store.

Yes, yes, yes….Caramel Frapuccino with a shot of Hazelnut and a little cinnamon sprinkled on top! Hmmmm….good!
Oh My, I use to LOVE sugar daddies…..in fact I still love caramel, but I didn’t like the starbucks caramel frapuccino…….
I have never heard a Sugar Daddy decribed so tastefully. The only time I eat caramel is on top of a ice cream sundae.
